I took yet another adventurous journey through my own country, rediscovering its beauty and natural wonders. The Bucegi Mountains mark the border between the East and South Carpathians. The highest point in Bucegi is Omu Peak, with an altitude of 2505 meters, which stands in the north. As you can already tell, the surrounding areas are all-natural, meaning that most of the roads are unpaved and that you won’t see many cars around. And that is just how I like it. These roads were made for hiking, for discovering new places and enjoying majestic views. I have not yet reached some of the more impressive areas, but when I do, I will provide more pictures. Until next time, keep in mind these mountains, for they are going straight into my recommendations list!
